I’m Alexandra Wood, a yoga and meditation teacher, dog mama, and a free-spirited soul. I created this space to cultivate conection and community and to authentically share my holistic wellness journey. I don’t believe there is such a thing as perfection, but I do believe that if we choose to be mindful in the way that we live our life then we have the ability to live to our fullest potential. Life ebbs and flows...so make mistakes and grow from them, laugh more than not, and remember that self-love is the best kind of love.
Through this space, I hope to inspire you to live freely, to take the path less traveled by others, and to walk through life with an open-heart.

A few of years ago, I packed my bags and said good-bye to my small hometown in Alabama and made the big move to New York City to pursue a career in fashion. During this life transition, I discovered yoga and started practicing daily to help manage stress and build an inner connection to myself, eventually enrolling in a 200-hour teacher training. Over time my career began to take a mental and physical toll on my health leading me to eventually quit my job and pursue a new path as a wellness entrepreneur. I have since become a full-time yoga and meditation instructor as well as a content creator (just for fun!).
